The most anticipated event of the fall season, Fashion Thursday at Club Bliss was a charming and delightful night of style, high energy tunes and Dallas’ fashionably elite.

The F Word is a sequence of mini fashion extravaganzas presented by The Fashion Society and styled by its members (predominantly the city’s most talented and accomplished hair stylists, make-up artists, etc.)

The evening’s show featured some of Dallas’ most in-demand models (all members of the ?ASO Fashion Society) in latest designs from both international and local designers and fashion houses such as BCBG, Roberto Cavalli, Oscar Fierro, Ed Hardy, Sakrick Battee, Artful Dodger, Stephen Hartzler, Ketsanam, D Squared, Robert Cavalli, Alberto Makali and Oscar Fierro. After exhibiting creations the designers and five distinct looks for the ladies, a segment for breast cancer followed, as a portion of the proceeds raised during the series will be donated to cancer research. From high fashion dresses to recycled car parts, the runway welcomed imagination and ingenuity to our urban nucleus.

“The fashion show was great! In the words of Coco Chanel, “Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street; fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.” That’s why the designers that showed at The F Word were from all different styles…Fashion is everything! You Dig?” exclaimed Denarcus Miles, president of The Boardroom Management.
In between segments and for the rest of the modish night, DJ Passion got the attendees in full party mode spinning the hottest pop and hip hop tunes; with sporadic breaks of old school nostalgia.

The vogue facility, which will house the six-week affair, Club Bliss, (located at 1911 N. Griffin next door to the Dallas Aquarium,) included a red carpet atmosphere when arriving, an electric dance floor, an ultra-chic lounge area and of course, a fully stocked bar with $4 martinis. Other exuberant goodies included the illuminated runway, where attendees were invited to dance on after the show. Many screams (and laughs) followed when guests engaged in pole-dancing adjacent from the runway.

“I think that Fashion Thursday’s is a great event for Dallas. The DFW area has a wide variety of beautiful women and outstanding designers. It is definitely something for anyone that is interested in fashion industry. The makeup, the hair, the clothes, and the models were absolutely fabulous!, exclaimed relationship expert/ author Armani Valentino.

After a successful, yet slightly disheveled opening night at Sushi Axiom (over a month ago,) The F Word is back and better than before. Bliss, with its larger capacity, drink specials and panache atmosphere, is a much better facility for the weekly fashion bash.
