ITS OVER FOR THE BOYS… EAGLES SQUASH US

December 29, 2008

Jim Johnson’s defense caused heat on Sunday and Tony Romo was the sad beneficiary of the Eagles’ abundant bombardment and steady pressure. According to the dallasnews.com, Romo’s back brought him so much pain following the game that he buckled in the shower and needed two people to assist him down a single step.

Tony Romo once again disappointed his team and came up very small in a big game. The Cowboys QB was often considered as a rescuer for America’s favorite team, but he is definitely to blame for Dallas not making the playoffs.  When asked how he deals with all of these rough defeats, he said

“I wake up tomorrow and I keep living.”

(AND WE KEEP LETTING THE BOYS GET OUR HOPES UP.)

Romo’s blustering receiver, Terrell Owens, called the game an “old-fashioned butt whipping.”

I couldn’t have said it better myself.

The Eagles won 44-6 to advance into the playoffs.
